Verdict

It’s on to the Turf course for the remainder of the card but none of these inspire much confidence and Ocasio Cortez hasn’t shown the progress expected having failed to trouble the winner when third at Windsor. Lexi The One finished last of seven at Chester albeit in a tougher race than this while Microscopic and Champagne Highlife showed only a modicum of improvement on their latest outings. Luscifer is a brother to a winner on the Fibresand but fellow newcomer NEWYORKSTATEOFMIND is a half-brother to a winning two-year-old on the all-weather and Bill Muir’s colt gets a speculative vote to make a winning start.
