Abaconian would not need to be anything out of the ordinary to take a hand here but Mark Wallace's horses have been fairly quiet of late so he may be best watched and preference is for Piano Player, who gets the vote ahead of Ballybeg. The selection showed plenty of promise on his Wolverhampton debut last month and granted natural improvement for the run should be too good for his rivals. Dean Ivory's Bobby Rose looks to be going the right way but may do better in handicaps, while Maximix is bred to be useful but may need further in time. Pain In The Neck looks the clear second string of Mark Wallace's two runners, while Plemont Bay needs to improve on all know evidence to trouble the selection and of more interest may be Ballybeg, who has run with credit in handicaps in his last two starts and should appreciate the drop back to maiden company.
