Limit Down hails from a yard that knows the time of day in these events, and is taken to beat the likes of Lady Piste and Blue Power. Trainer Mark Wallace is always worth following in selling races and the booking of Kieren Fallon is a big positive. Limit Down has yet to open his account but has only had eight career outings, and ran well enough when third in similar company here last time to merit the vote. Third then, he meets Lady Piste on more or less the same terms, and may fare better over this furlong shorter trip. Blue Power held his form well at the end of last year, but has been confined to the slower fibresand venues, Southwell and Wolverhampton, and it remains to be seen how he will cope with the quicker Polytrack. Lizhar shaped well enough in mid-division on her first run here last week and has a chance on her form of last autumn, but in a moderate contest, Limit Down is the pick, especially if the market speaks in his favour.
