Tagula Blue was never able to recover from a slow start at Newbury last time and may be worth another chance here in a race where the main dangers look to be Snowed Under and Michaels Pride. The last mentioned handles cut in the ground perfectly well but could probably do with some help from the handicapper so may be best watched at present. Old campaigner Kylkenny is not as good as he once was and more solid claims are probably held by the less exposed Colinca's Lad, although he would need to come on a bundle for his reappearance run to get involved. Michael Bell's Magic Sting should have no difficulty with the ground but can hardly be backed with great confidence, while Magic Amigo may be better over further. Snowed Under is consistent and in form but may want a faster surface so preference is for Tagula Blue, who is taken to resume winning ways.
