Verdict

All four of this quartet have claims of a sort but, if BHB ratings are to be believed, the finish should be fought out between Rudood and Pantina, with preference for the former. The selection has shown enough in three starts in races over shorter trips to suggest that a race of this nature would be well within his compass and, with the step up to 1m2f to suit, Alex Stewart's son of Theatrical gets the vote. Rod Millman's Pantina failed to stay 1m4f last time at Chester and should be better served by the return to this trip. He rates a bigger danger than Clive Brittain's Estimate, who is the most exposed of these and hails from a stable currently struggling to find the winners. Nashwan Star has to be respected but is proving expensive to follow and a safer option looks to be Rudood.
