Sweet Emily ended last season on a high note and can land this decent handicap, Foreplay and Spanish Story may do best of the others. James Fanshawe has his string in great form and Sweet Emily can add to his recent success. She was most impressive when beating Baron's Spy by four lengths last October over course and distance. The handicapper has taken his revenge but she has plenty of scope for improvement and looks the best option. Foreplay returned to the track with a decent effort at Wolverhampton last month. She ran well for long way before fading into sixth behind Deira. She should come on for the run and looks a major threat to the selection. Spanish Story has shown a glimmer of ability in three decent enough maidens and gets in here on a tempting mark for her handicap debut. Shamsalmaiden has also been given abit of a chance by the grader and may do best of the others, however if fit for her return Sweet Emily should be the one to beat
