Bandama can keep up Amanda Perrett's recent run at the expense of Sharplaw Autumn, Baizically and Auction Room, with Brave Fight worth noting. Most of Amanda Perrett's team have been firing of late, including Bandama who fully justified favouritism at Newbury last month, beating King Of Argos in the manner of one who will pay to follow in handicaps at least this summer. He is saddled with joint topweight here but this progressive colt can pay to follow over trips of 10 furlongs and above, thanks to the influence of his dam who is a half-sister to the Irish Oaks winner Winona. Sharplaw Autumn duly made a successful return when odds-on at Beverley in April, and although at one time holding an Oaks entry, she is another that can be supported in handicap company. Baizically looked potentially smart when destroying his field at Hamilton but has a bit to prove off 85. Auction Room was outclassed in the Cheshire Oaks so has to be respected back in this grade, while Brave Fight now qualifies for handicaps and is worth noting as the season goes on, but Bandama is the pick of the bunch today.
