Golden Poet is penalised for his bumper victory on this track though he's run quite well in his last two starts over timber. HERMINIO also carries extra for three victories on the Flat in France and he was very disappointing on his third start over timber at Bellewstown where he was soon done with after attempting to make all. That didn't look his form and he should do better here, especially if ridden with more restraint, so gets the nod. The four-year-old Monarch is also penalised for a victory on the Flat and he looked a certain future winner with narrow defeats at Punchestown and Listowel before bumping into a good one here last month. Canny Tom has now had 20 starts over timber without winning including at Sligo on Sunday. He has some decent form to his credit and can reach the frame again but Storm Racer looks as though he needs further. Frank Wilde is slowly getting the hang of the job and looks best of the remainder.
