In depth

Verdict

Fern House ran well last time and looks worth supporting here over College Queen and Freshwinds. The selection chased home Lady Hopeful at Folkestone when last seen out. This 4-year-old from the Peter Grayson yard has gone well on this surface previously and nominal improvement should make him tough to beat. College Queen finished behind our selection last time and as she has never won over this trip the percentage call is to take her on. Freshwinds finished in mid-division behind Hello Roberto at Wolverhampton on his most recent outing and he will need to step-up on what he has shown recently to get competitive. Molotov would have claims on the pick of his efforts and he was returning from a break at Musselburgh last time so should strip fitter today. He could go well at an each-way price, but we will stick with Fern House as our choice to lead them home.
