    Verdict

Jaboune, who won a couple of novice chases in the spring, reverts to hurdles for the first time since the Grand National meeting at Aintree and, while Alan King's gelding has to be respected, they all have it to do to beat the progressive Rigmarole. The Paul Nicholls-trained gelding has shown improved form this term with wins at Newton Abbot and Bangor prior to a respectable effort in defeat when second to Gimmick at Wetherby last week. A reproduction of that effort should suffice for the five-year-old. The John Jenkins-trained Domenico is held by the selection on running at the Yorkshire venue and with neither Saspys Lad nor Fifth Generation making much appeal this should go to Rigmarole.
