    Verdict

Allimac has taken well to fences and was recording his second win when running on well to account for a moderate field at Ludlow last time. He was prone to the odd mistake, however, and if Isio takes to fences he could take all the beating. Nicky Henderson's charge was a very smart novice hurdler, having won three times and been beaten narrowly in a Grade 2 event here at Kempton. Isio's ability to handle fences has to be taken on trust, but his trainer is sure to have schooled him well, and, in receipt of ten pounds from his main rival he gets a confident vote from TEAMtalk. Shareef and Couloir may struggle on what they have shown over hurdles, while Johnlegood also faces a stiff task, but could be the type to make a fair chaser in time.
