        Verdict

        The stayers come to the fore in the lucky last and Living On A Prayer is the selection, with Critical Stage a threat and Bob's Your Uncle and Golden Folly others to consider. Living On A Prayer appeared to really appreciate the step up in trip when runner up to Kyber at Musselburgh last month, that run coming after a break. A month off will again ensure she is fresh enough to do herself justice and over this longer trip she may well find some more. Critical Stage will be popular after winning over hurdles and then here over c&d last. He should go well once more but 4lb extra over two miles may well take its toll. Bob's Your Uncle has shown in and out form form of late but stays and generally runs to a level that suggests he can make the frame here. Golden Folly is interesting now stepped up massively in trip from 10f and runners saddled by Lady Herries can carry this off well sometimes, while Featherlight should also be competitive from this mark. Preference however, is for Living On A Prayer.
