Stepaside was a little unlucky last time and can make amends here; the list of dangers is headed by Fortune Point and Lordswood. The selection did not do a lot wrong last time when chasing home Louisiade and he looks worth another chance today. Fortune Point looks the chief danger as he also went close last time but he is not as good as he once was and it is open to debate whether he can reproduce that form today. Lordswood looks a progressive sort and he won well at Lingfield last time, but he has the worst of the draw here and he will need some luck if he is to weave his way through to score. In contrast, Stepaside likes to bowl along in front and he could get the run of the race. With this in mind he is put forward as our selection.
