Euro American has the highest rating of these over hurdles and has to respected but the son of Snurge is far from certain to stay this far and preference is for Canada Street with Baron Monty rated the best of the remainder. The selection is a lightly raced son of Old Vic who showed progressive form from limited opportunities over hurdles and has similarly improved with racing over fences. Howard Johnson's gelding should relish both trip and ground and he looks the one that they all have to beat. Tynedale is a consistent performer but is again likely to find at least one too good, while Roobihoo has ability but is inconsistent. Baron Monty has come back well following a year's absence and has to be considered but Canada Street has a progressive profile and is taken to open his account over fences.
