In depth

Verdict

Some modest performers on view and this looks a good opportunity for San Dimas who is handed the TEAMtalk vote. The five-year-old landed a novice event over course and distance last month and there were valid excuses for his defeat in a seller here last time. The son of Distant View found the switch back to two miles an insufficient test and should appreciate the return to this more suitable trip. Hirt Lodge will handle the conditions but has been well held off his current mark of late and is likely to struggle once again while Inn From The Cold has shown nothing to date but receives plenty of weight and may prove the main danger in a race that lacks strength in depth.
