Leslingtaylor can make a winning start over timber, with Mohayer, Raining Horse and Cardinal Spirit a few that can perhaps give him a race. This is a truly moderate contest to end proceedings, and connections of Leslingtaylor must be licking their lips in anticipation of a successful foray into the winter game. John Quinn does well with the inmates that switch codes, and although this fellow is no Blythe Knight, he should have too much class for his rivals here. Successful three times on the Flat this year, his latest victory at York in October was on his preferred soft ground, and with Graham Lee to guide him round here, he is hard to oppose. Mohayer has shaped with a bit of promise in three outings over timber but probably needs further, while Raining Horse belied his odds of 66-1 to finish third here last time, but needs to show even more to figure. Cardinal Spirit is a future chaser and is best watched, with Leslingtaylor very much the one to beat.
