held up, never troubled leaders
held up, never troubled leaders
keen in touch, weakened after 4th
held up, headway 3 out, soon ridden and one pace
held up, headway approaching 3 out, soon ridden and stayed on same pace
never better than mid-division
always prominent, led after 5th, hit 3 out, ridden out
keen, held up, headway and mistake 3 out, stayed on flat
soon in rear, pulled up before 3 out
keen in touch, ridden and every chance 2 out, weakened flat
in touch, led 4th, headed after next, ridden and weakened approaching 2 out
Another tough race to call here for punters with not much between many of the rivals but the principals look to be Rajam, Silver Prophet and Captain Rawlings and the vote goes to Rajam. The selection from the Richard Guest Yard was a fair third on his debut behind Paddy The Piper and a reproduction of that effort would make him hard to beat. Silver Prophet rates the main danger on his latest fourth behind Misty Dancer but that form has since been let down badly and for that reason is opposed. Captain Rawlings is also worthy of respect he is from a top yard that is in form and is probably capable of better. Sir Brastias was behind Silver Prophet on the flat but is another from a top yard and he is sure to have been schooled for this his hurdling debut. Of the remainder First boy is from a shrewd yard and is worth noting in the market but for the winner we return to Rajam.
