    Verdict

Warrlin was a good second behind Emperor Ross on this course last time out over a much longer trip, but he was useful at this trip a couple of seasons ago and he will be hard to beat in this desperate affair. Henrianjames looks the main danger he was third last time out at Southwell behind Knight's Emperor and this faster ground will suit him better. Pertino could also go close he has ran well in handicap hurdles of late, looking in the handicappers grip he goes on the ground and the switch to fences could bring out some improvement. Iso Bald also showed ability over hurdles but he may come on for the run his first after an absence. The remainder need to improve on there latest form to score,
