In depth

Verdict

A wide open handicap chase here and many can be given chances on their best form but the principals look to be Guilsborough Gorse, Nosam, Catch The Perk and Palisander, and the confident vote goes to Guilsborough Gorse. The selection won well last time out when defeating Upham Lord and although he is rising in the weights he will be hard to beat with conditions again in his favour. Nosam rates the main danger. He was a fair third behind Hallyards Gael last time but although he travels well in his races he finds little off the bridle and for that reason he is opposed. Catch The Perk is another that could go well he won well over course and distance when defeating Polyphon a couple of runs ago but he is off a higher mark here and that may just catch him out. Of there remainder Mr Laggan is from a yard in form and is worth noting in the market but for the winner we return to Guilsborough Gorse.
