Anemix was most impressive when winning on his British debut and is taken to follow up this afternoon, Prestbury Knight and Hoh Nelson may be the main dangers. Anemix was only a modest sort on the Flat in France, but there was no fluke about the way in which he beat the fancied runners at Taunton last month, quickening clear in the final quarter-mile having cantered into the lead turning in. The handicapper hasn't been too harsh and with improvement expected he looks the one to be on. Prestbury Knight returned from a long break to beat some reasonable types at Wincanton and if he doesn't bounce he should be in the firing line again today. Hoh Nelson has looked in need of two recent efforts but has strong claims on the pick of last season's form. The other obvious candidate is the Alan King trained Proprioception, but we expect Anemix to give weight and a beating to his rivals this afternoon.
