Verdict
This is an open affair with the majority of the field unexposed, but we prefer UNA PELOTA to come out on top with Proud Times and High Severa others to note. Proud Times had just the one run as a juvenile, finishing a promising second. On the strength of that effort at this course, he was made favourite to score on his re-appearance but was disappointing, finishing in therunner-up spot once more. He clearly has ability but looks a touch one paced and is opposed. High Severa was unraced as a juvenile, but has been turned out twice already this term. He was well beaten on his debut but improved significantly on that when a decent third at Hamilton. Further improvement can see him play a part here. Having finished a close up fifth on his debut over this course and distance, Una Pelota was allowed to start at a big price for what looked a hot maiden at Chester. He ran a blinder to finish third behind Harbinger. The winner is bound for Royal Ascot, and the form looks very good in the context of this race. Una Pelota looks too good for his rivals.
