Verdict
The ground is the unknown where many of these are concerned as the majority have raced on ground no easier than good. Kashimin is selected to land it after a fine second over course and distance last time. The winner of a Pontefract maiden on his sole juvenile start, he had been disappointing on his two starts previously this season but that effort last time indicated that he has returned to form. With more improvement likely given his unexposed profile, she should be thereabouts. Yahwudhee is another unexposed sort, coming here after two outings, the second of which resulted in victory. He steps back to six furlongs but given the prevailing conditions that should play to his strengths. Spartan Duke's best form is on quicker surfaces so that would bring about reservations where his claims are concerned while the more exposed Mister Hardy has two wins over five furlongs as a juvenile but six now looks to be his trip. Kashimin is given the vote to win after that fine effort last time.
