Tedburrow is nothing but game and is a credit to his connections even now at the age of ten. He proved on his reappearance that he still retains plenty of enthusiasm and can be relied upon to run his race. However, his best efforts have come on a sounder footing and although he has winning form with cut in the ground, he may have to concede that this is not to be his day. He was well held by Needwood Blade when the two met at Doncaster in March and the Pivotal colt looks to hold the advantage over his elder rival again today. The ground has come in his favour and his two runs so far this season will have put him spot on for this. Kier Park is feared most but his losing run stretches back to 1999 and that statistic could well be extended further today.
