Verdict
YKIKAMOOCOW is the selection on this occasion with Silent Oasis and Island Sunset sure to have their supporters. The Cape Town filly looked to need every yard of the seven furlongs that she scored over at Catterick and if anything, this step up in trip will prove more of a help than a hindrance. Silent Oasis is a particularly well bred individual from the Brian Meehan stable. As ever, the handler's runners are worth more than just a cursory glance on handicap debut. Island Sunset was a rare first time out winner for Willie Muir. The trainer had a winner with a similar sort the other day so a note of the market is advised. Peter's Gift ran lamentably at Musselburgh so the fact that she is tried again on a similar surface suggests that it was probably just a bad day at the office. Stellerina steps up in trip. Efficiency may need softer ground whilst Sampower Star took part in a Beverley contest that has started to yield a few winners. Ykikamoocow looks the percentage call in a typically modest affair.
