In depth

Verdict

A race that makes limited betting appeal and MIMI GATOR is our call with Almuntaser and We'll Deal Again on the shortlist. The selection was beaten in a stronger seller at York but he won well at Redcar and a return to that sort of form would entitle him to plenty of consideration. Ian Williams is in form so expect to see a big run from Almuntaser. He possessed a very willing attitude at Windsor on debut and is now dropping in class. The form of We'll Deal Again was not well advertised by the winner in a subsequent Pontefract effort. The trip should prove no issue whatsoever. Bluie would need to reverse form with a couple of these to make it count. Clear Ice offered some promise on debut though was beaten by a cricket score second time around. Aintwogrand is a rare Mick Channon runner at this grade but she did not particularly impress at Goodwood last time out. Mimi Gator is not without negatives but this is a trappy race where anything is possible.
