        Verdict

        Sparking has proved best on Polytrack so far, but Sandwith wasn't beaten far over C&D last month and this is less competitive. Cheyenne Red finished a well-beaten second at Newcastle last time, while Dower Glen has been below her best in a couple of starts this month. A poor contest can go to THE FIERY CROSS as he went close over 6f here last month. There should be more to come from Ian Semple's charge on his handicap debut and only his fourth start.
