    Verdict

Not much form to go on and, as ever the market will provide further clues, but Red Top is the suggestion ahead of stable mate Kunda while Dunloskin and Tarot Card are newcomers to note. Richard Hannon's charge ran a race full of promise on her debut over this trip at York in May when, despite a slow start, she made eye-catching headway to finish a close third behind a well regarded performer. The half-sister to Group winner Rag Top hasn't been seen out since but the form was boosted by the second who was placed in the Queen Mary and jockey bookings suggest she is the first string ahead of Kunda. The latter showed plenty of potential when a strong finishing second at Newbury last time but may prefer further to show her best and is passed over on this occasion. Michael Jarvis has a strong team of juveniles so Dunloskin, a Selkirk half-sister to graded winners, has to be feared while Barry Hills introduces Tarot Card, a daughter of Fasliyev and related to several winners. Either could prove good enough but Red Top has the form in the book and sets the standard.
