John Gosden has a superb record this season with his three-year-olds and Epicentre is one of many from the stable who are on the upgrade. After a nice win at Bath he only just failed to follow up in a very competitive Newbury handicap with the form of the race having since been boosted by the winner. He is still open to plenty of improvement and has to be feared here. Proserpine has real solid form as a juvenile and Marcus Tregoning remains adept at getting his string ready on their seasonal reappearance, so providing she has wintered well this filly looks the main danger to the favourite. Silence Is Golden and Turbo remain in good form but will have to improve to really trouble the front two in the betting.
