In an interesting maiden, the vote goes to Twlya Tharp, with others to consider including Antoinette, Art Eyes, Dance Partner, Gems Of Araby and This Is My Song. The John Gosden-trained selection showed plenty of promise on her second start last season, when second to a Godolphin runner at Doncaster. With the third having won since, the form looks solid enough and she has a likeable profile for this race. The Sir Michael Stoute-trained Antoinette, who cost $200,000 as a yearling, showed plenty of promise on her debut last year and, with her stable in good nick, she can go well. Art Eyes showed promise on her debut last year and maybe needed her first run this time around, so is another to consider. Bazelle's form is solid in the mid 70s, so there is the benchmark to the form, while the John Gosden-trained Dance Partner has likeable breeding, although the betting might provide clues as to whether she is fancied. Euphoria has shown promise but might need a longer trip in time, while Gems Of Araby's second to Indigo Cat at Lingfield last time looks even better now after that one's second in the Predominate Stakes on Wednesday. The locally-trained Grey Plover is one to watch out for in the betting, and Lady Diktat's fourth to Art Work at Nottingham last time gives her a chance of a place. Lady Pilot has also shown promise and steps up in trip today, while Opera Belle's breeding certainly has something to like about it. This Is My Song has also shown plenty of promise and, with a seasonal run under her belt, also has to come into the reckoning. However, Twyla Tharp is also one that looks of great interest this season and, accordingly, she gets the vote.
