Verdict
Galeota can make the most of this quick reappearance to account for Beckermet, Pivotal Point and Shmookh, with Aeroplane an interesting one to note. Galeota was given a strong ride by Ryan Moore to get up and beat Peace Offering on Wednesday, securing a third Listed success in the process, and the former Mill Reef winner looks worth supporting again now that he has returned to something like his old form. The step up to six-furlongs will not present a problem, and he is very likely to be seen at this trip again soon if going for the Diadem at Ascot at the end of the month. Beckermet turned in a sound effort when leading for most of the way in the seven-furlong Group 3 Supreme Stakes here 11-days ago, and will be more at home over today's trip, so he rates a big danger to the selection. Pivotal Point has in the main taken on top-class Group company of late, including in the Kings Stand Stakes last time, so will not be overawed either, but Shmookh tackles Listed opposition for the first time, and is best watched. Aeroplane had a big reputation when he first set foot on the racecourse, but has not always delivered the goods. It is interesting that Peter Chapple-Hyam keeps him in training, and he still has time on his side. However, Galeota lines up fit and fancied, and is the one to beat.
