Richard Hills was no doubt fuming after getting caught aboard Qadar when the Xaar colt made his debut here last month and he is sure to be live to the challenges represented by well-bred newcomers Dubawi and Fox this evening. In contrast, Buzz Maite and Waterline Lover appear to have it all to do in this company and their respective connections may have to enjoy a private wager in that personal battle to gain a return. Dubawi is a beautifully-bred colt that will no doubt carry plenty of expectations as he hails from a yard that are flying with their younger horses at present. However, being by Dubai Millennium, he can be expected to improve with age and may find this trip a touch on the sharp side for now. Fox, on the other hand, should find this trip suits him for now and he should not be underestimated with his challenge. However, as experience counts for an awful lot at this stage, it is hard to see past Qadar when predicting the winner on the evidence available.
