Lambrini Bianco is taken to complete a hat-trick at the expense of Lucky Luk, Pangeran, Alfred The Grey and Joe McHugh. Lambrini Bianco and Lucky Luk fought out a thrilling finish at Warwick in March, with the selection responding to first-time blinkers as he came out on top by a length. The latter is now 3lb better off, but since that gutsy victory, Lambrini Bianco has followed up at Sedgefield where he took it up three out before storming clear. He is obviously on the upgrade at present, and a 7lb penalty for that success six days ago is unlikely to stop him from making a bold bid. Pangeran is a bit long in the tooth now but knows his way round here and will go on the fast ground. Alfred The Grey had it to do from out of the handicap when a moderate fourth of seven here in March and may just fare a bit better now, while Joe McHugh has joint topweight and has to prove that he can handle the faster surface. So, we return to the in-form Lambrini Bianco as the answer.
