Verdict

Medison will be all the better for his last outing and is taken to give weight and a beating to My World, with Guru best of the rest. Having looked a most progressive sort over hurdles at one time, with three victories culminating in the Imperial Cup at Sandown, Medison appeared to have lost the plot by the end of last season, being well beaten on each of his last two outings. Tailed off on his return in Listed company, also at Sandown, his attention was turned to the bigger obstacles at Warwick next time, and at least he got round behind the useful Voy Por Ustedes, finishing third of four. Strictly on the form-book he has little in hand of My World who was second, beaten only five lengths by Voy Por Ustedes at Plumpton in December, and she will prove a tough rival. Guru makes his debut over fences and should not be ruled out lightly as he was a fair hurdler, but the rest make little appeal. Basically, Medison has the class to prevail, and if he gets his act together, will silence any critics, but the proviso is that bets should be kept on the small side.
