    Verdict

A bumper that can be narrowed down to three namely Lets Play, Lord Leonardo and Major Miller with the last named being the selection. Major miller comes from the Henderson stable and with the yard having very few runners this time of the year he has to be respected. He ran well to finish fifth on his racecourse debut and is likely to improve further. Lets Play comes from a yard in top form on the flat and over jumps. He has shown signs of improvement on each run but is clearly no world beater so is given an each way chance. As is Lord Leonardo who has the services of Tony McCoy and who also ran with credit on his debut at Plumpton last month so any improvement will see him go close. But for the winner we return to Major Miller.
