In depth

Formwatch

Menesonic (IRE) Consistent type with a good record at this course. Every likelihood that he could be involved at the finish, although the handicapper may have his measure at the moment, and one or two others are preferred.

Parahandy (IRE) Not the mopst fluent of jumpers and although he has ability his overall recent form would not appear good enough.

Garolsa (FR) Good run on latest start, at Plumpton, and quite well treated at best. Certainly would not rule out a bold bid here.

Mullintor (IRE) Normally runs very well at this course, and although his recent form is hardly inspiring he may have needed those outings and we could see a different horse this time.

Swing Quartet (IRE) Absent for three months but goes well fresh, although would probably want better ground to show her best.

Cedar Green Prone to the bad mistake and has looked an awkward ride at times, but does seem quite well treated so a good round of jumping would give him a big chance in this.

Wee Windy (IRE) Winner of this race last year, off a stone lower mark. Conditions will not be a problem but appears to have his share of weight at the moment.

Even Flow (IRE) Has not won for more than two years, and although he is potentially well treated is certainly not the force he once was.

Gran Turismo (IRE) Reasonable performer at the lower levels but not the safest of jumpers and may find this beyond him.
