Verdict

After making Ballycassidy pull out all the stops at Newbury last month, Colonel Frank is given the office to be the one to be on today. Mulligatawny hails from a stable that are just beginning to step things up a gear now and he is respected over the Henrietta Knight-trained Royal China as the biggest danger to the selection. Watch The Dove and Good Bone complete the line up and will both benefit from the experience. But Colonel Frank did absolutely nothing wrong when trying to claim the scalp of last season's Summer Plate winner, and, as faces nothing of the caliber of Ballycassidy today, it will be a little surprising if he cannot collect some due compensation.
