Verdict

Perouse, Going Global and Barcelona look to be the principals in this handicap hurdle and the confident vote goes to Perouse. The gelding from the Paul Nicholls yard won well last time out when defeating The Gene Genie and although he has risen in the weights for that victory he won with plenty of authority and with conditions again in his favour he will be hard to beat. Going Global rates the main danger he was a fair second behind Downpour in a class c hurdle last time. However although he travels well in his races he finds little off the bridle and for that reason he is opposed. Barcelona could also go well but he gave the impression he was in the handicappers grip when fourth behind Captain Zinzan last time. The other two runners Carly Bay and Palouse look to have plenty on at the weights so we are happy to side with Perouse.
