Tarlac, Noble Billy and Dark Parade are three against there field in the second division of this hurdle race and the vote is given to Tarlac. The selection was a well backed favourite but could manage only third on his debut. He is clearly thought capable off better and given nominal improvement he will be hard to beat under conditions that suit. Noble Bill rates the main danger on his latest second behind Coach Lane but all his best form is on a softer surface and for that reason he is opposed. Dark Parade is another that could go well as he was a fair second on his debut behind Siberian Highness. That form looks rock solid in the context of this race and he will not be far away. Of the remainder Nelson du Ronceray has shown a modicum of ability and is another with place claims but he may be seen to better effect in handicaps and for the winner we return to Tarlac who looks sure to improve.
