        Verdict

        In the finale, Shamila is selected ahead of Umlilo, Red Sail and Aurora Jane. Shamila's handicap debut last time, when third at Sandown to Island Odyssey was a fair effort in the context of this race and she can go well today. Her stable might just be running into form again too. Collect, who is blinkered for the first time today, and Greenmeadow, seem to have some improvement to find, while it is disappointing that Golden Applause has not been able to build on her juvenile win. Umlilo showed her first piece of worthwhile form last time, and today's longer trip should tell us more and she cannot be ruled out, while Red Sail would have very solid claims if able to transfer recent all-weather form to the Turf and she has to be considered. As does Aurora Jane, who ran well at Chester last time. Overall, though, we will side with Shamila.
