Verdict

Beaucette will be a short price but should find no trouble unless either of the newcomers Space Cowboy or Habshan prove to be special. Sir Michael Stoute's maiden ran her best race last time out at sandown when finishing third in a decent maiden. She should improve on that effort here though she may start at a prohibitive price. Both newcomers are nicely-bred sorts who should be suited by this trip but whether they will be able to get competitive on their debuts remains to be seen and the market should provide more clues. It will be a surprise if either of the two already-raced maidens Vallance and Langford are good enough so it should pay to side with Beaucette.
