In depth

Verdict

Grand Art won over 2m6f at Uttoxeter last month but disappointed back over this trip at Southwell earlier this month and finished behind today's opponent Public Esteem. John Spearing's 10-year-old should be all the better for that run, his first for exactly 12 months, and looks the main danger to AMERICAN CRICKET. This is the latter's first start since April 2010 but he was holding his own in better company prior to his lay-off and the stable is noted for getting their charges fit at home. Weybridge Lad is another dropping in class but he finished tailed off at Hereford last time.
