In depth

Verdict

The three to note are Commercial Express, Poncha Train and Anshabil with the vote going to the last named. The selection ran well to finish second last time out after falling on his seaonal reappearence at Lingfield. His jumping has let him down in the past so has to be a concern but if putting in a clear round he has the class and ability to win plenty of races. Commercial Express is a point to point winner in Ireland but has failed to progress throught the ranks as quickly as some might have hoped. He did show signs of ability last time out at Chepstow and the yard are in good form so he is worth noting. Poncha Train has shown consistent form without ever looking like winning anything this season. Having said that he continues to get placed and jumps well on the whole so he will win races in time but for the winner we return to Anshabil.
