Hermitage Court is very lightly raced and has been given top-weight for this tricky handicap but could be up to the task, King Of Diamonds, Flint River and Mr Velocity may prove best of the remainder. Brian Meehan's gelding landed his maiden at Newmarket before finishing a close up fourth in a very strong handicap at Newbury. With further improvement almost guaranteed he will be very hard to beat. King Of Diamonds is a bit of a quirky character, but comes into the argument on his recent victory over Dumnoni at Newmarket. Mr Velocity rarely gets beaten far and can reverse recent course and distance running with Carry On Doc. Flint River should also make his presence felt after finishing runner-up at Brighton on his last two outings. Northern raider Mbosi is also worthy of a mention, but Hermitage Court is expected to give weight and a beating to this field.
