Ed Dunlop has endured a poor season by his standards but the yard will be hopeful of better fortune with Lobos in this moderate event. The three-year-old was a promising fourth in a hot Newbury maiden in the Spring before being sidelined for two months and may have needed his comeback outing when disappointing at Newmarket in June. The son of Rainbow Quest was seen to better effect when a close third in a similar heat at Salisbury late last month and will be hard to beat if reproducing the form against some frustrating individuals. Both Strathspey and Transit have had plenty of chances and look worth opposing once again while Saihook needs to improve to trouble the selection.
