Red Derek was only beaten a short-head at Haydock last month but that was over a much longer trip and a strike-rate of 1-36 doesn’t inspire confidence he’ll go one better. Flylikeaneagle has done well on the Flat this season for a NH yard, winning four times, and this is a drop in grade for Mustazeed. Aldbourne is on a roll and will enjoy conditions but has a penalty for a recent win at Brighton. Samuel Spade could figure if back on song but Ryan Moore has hung around to partner MORNING SUN for old boss Sir Michael Stoute and the three-year-old, a half-brother to three winners, looks worth a try over this longer trip.
