A lot will depend on the actual state of the going and a clearer picture of that will be known by the time this race comes around. Beaten a distance in this race last season Tarawan has an excellent chance of making up for that poor showing on ground more to his liking. He is fit from the AW and his stable is in excellent form. Greenaway Bay, ridden by the lovely Serena Brotherton, is generally a consistent performer who handles any type of ground. However this trip will stretch his stamina despite him having a win on the AW over 11 furlongs under his belt. Exploring is an interesting runner stepping up in trip. He ran well in a Lingfield claimer last time out though his career best effort came on the turf at Salisbury around this distance. If the ground comes up faster than expected then Final Dividend can be given a good chance especially as he has won off a higher mark than this in the past.
