Several of these will be interesting to note for future reference but Tritonville Lodge sets a good standard for now and is fancied to have too many guns for Jackadandy and Sandysnowing, while Fixateur is also an interesting recruit that is worth noting in running for next time. The last named was useful over middle distances on the Flat in France and should handle the ground. He may need a touch further in time though and a watching brief may be the best policy with him. Sandysnowing was not given a hard time in a bumper at the last meeting here and can be expected to have benefited from the outing. Watch the market where he is concerned. Jackadandy was spooked after a mistake at Kelso and now has something to prove regarding his confidence. However, he has a fair turn of foot and can make this a test if he puts his mind to it. Nevertheless, it is hard to escape the claims of Tritonville Lodge after his six-length defeat of subsequent winner Spidam at Wincanton and he is expected to shrug aside his penalty in this company.
