      Verdict

      Zephyrina made a pleasing debut here and can build on that potential to go well but QUIRKY GERTIE (NAP) is preferred. The Channon filly has shown sparks of potential on both starts in maiden company and came home quite nicely in the decent Lingfield Turf maiden won by the useful Alhakmah. The nature of her performance that day suggested the step-up to this seventh furlong is what's required and she should also be far more streetwise now. Moeveonup has done most of his racing on artificial surfaces, as has Gaslight. However the latter wasn't at all disgraced on her sole start on Turf and has claims along with potential improver, Kasuku.
