Apart from unseating his rider at Bangor a month ago, Billesey has done everything asked of him of late and he is taken to win again, getting the verdict ahead of Incorporation and Mango Catcher. The last mentioned has not won for some time but ran better when finding just Green Gamble too good at Kempton last time and a reproduction of that effort would see him go close today. The Alner's My World has been given a chance by the handicapper and has claims on the pick of his form but is hard to back with any confidence on recent form. Pen Gwen is less exposed than most of these and has to be respected, while Elgar is another that has been given a chance at the weights but is hard to back with confidence on recent form. Incorporation deserved his success at Warwick last time and a 2lb rise for that is very fair so he has solid claims in an admittedly better race but preference is for Billesey.
