Verdict

In a competiitve handicap, Sento is selected ahead of Butler's Cabin and Made In Montot. Basically, Sento is fit, hails from a stable that is in form and an eight-pounds rise for his Stratford win should not stop him from showing up well today. Made In Montot is a bit hard to assess based on his novice chase win but, being from the Paul Nicholls yard, is not ruled out of things. Cameron Bridge is not ruled out of a good run from his current rating if his jumping holds together, while Bob The Builder was a promising novice last season and, having had a run this season to clear his tubes, could go well. Possextown and Harry Potter showed promise as novices last season, too, while Supreme Developer has dropped to a fair mark if recapturing his best form of the last couple of years, and Spring Lover is edging back towards a more competitive rating. Finally, Butler's Cabin runs again quickly following his Aintree success and is entitled to respect under a penalty, but David Pipe's Abragante has something to prove based on his hurdling form. Once again, though, the vote goes to Sento.
